GB/T14876-2002 Seamless steel pipes for conveying fluids
The GB/T14876-2002 is a mandatory national standard that replaces GB/T14976-1994. This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, factory inspection, packaging, marking, and transport of seamless steel tubes used for conveying fluids. It applies to seamless steel pipes for conveying two categories of Class A and Class B fluids for nominal pressure of ≤ 10MPa at room temperature.
First, the scope of application
This standard applies to seamless steel pipes used for conveying fluids (Class A and Class B). For pipes with operating temperatures other than room temperature, the temperature of the conveyed fluid shall not exceed the temperature stated in Table 2 of this standard.
Second, the technical requirements
1. Grade
Class A and Class B of seamless steel pipes should be divided according to chemical composition, the standard material grades are 10, 20, 35, 45, Q345 and other materials with the same mechanical properties.
2. Dimensions
The size, wall thickness and outer diameter of the seamless steel pipe used for conveying fluids are specified in Table 1.
3. Process performance
The process performance of Class A membranes should meet the requirements of Level A level in Table 3-No.1, and the process performance of Class B membranes should meet the requirements of Table 3-No.2.
4. Mechanical properties
Seamless steel pipes for the transmission of fluids should meet the requirements of tables 4-1 and 4-2.
Third, the test method
Four types of nondestructive tests, namely, X-ray, ultrasonic, hydraulic, magnetic particle, and a comprehensive leak test should be conducted. The scope, conditions and inspection rules are detailed in this standard.
Fourth, factory inspection
Seamless steel pipes for conveying fluids should be inspected and inspected according to the provisions of GB/T6402 before leaving the factory. The inspection and acceptance items are specified in this standard.
Fifth, packaging, marking, transport
The relevant packaging, marking and transport should be implementation and implementation in accordance with the requirements of GB/T10517 and GB/T15631.
In conclusion, the GB/T14876-2002 standard is intended to ensure that seamless steel pipes used for conveying fluids all meet the same technical and performance standards, ensuring that conveying fluids are properly processed and consistent with safety standards. This standard has become a benchmark for the conveying fluid seamless steel pipe industry, and its enforcement will contribute to the healthy development of the industry.
