Alloy 0Cr22Ni5Mo3N belongs to the austenite class of stainless steels. It is a kind of special ferrite and austenite dual-phase stainless steel and has excellent corrosion resistance. Its corrosion resistance is higher than other commonly used stainless steels.

The alloy 0Cr22Ni5Mo3N consists of 0.08%C, 22.00% Ni, 5.00% Mo and 3.00% N. Its chromium content is relatively low which, in turn, helps to reduce the solution and aging treatment temperature, thereby reducing the strength of the material and improving its ductility, thereby making it suitable for cold forming and deep drawing. Mo addition to stainless steel can strengthen its ability to resist acid and high temperature corrosion. Adding nitrogen improves the toughness of the stainless steel and increases the strength and hardness of stainless steel by providing solid solution strengthening.

Alloy 0Cr22Ni5Mo3N is typically used in instances when high strength, good corrosion resistance and workability is required. It is often used for applications such as construction, chemical equipment, food and beverage manufacturing, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and other industrial applications.

Alloy 0Cr22Ni5Mo3N has a certain degree of hardness and is difficult to cut and process. Therefore, in order to ensure the processing quality, it requires suitable cutting tools, suitable cutting parameters and reasonable machining process. The optimal combination of cutting method and cutting parameters should be adopted to ensure good quality of machining.

In order to improve the corrosion resistance of the alloy 0Cr22Ni5Mo3N, the suitable surface treatment processes such as pickling passivation, electrochemical polishing, mechanical polishing and etc. can be used. Before pickling passivation, the surface of the stainless steel parts should be cleaned, and then in the HNO3 and H2O2 mixed acid solution to further clean and remove rust, pickling passivation can be done for the surface to be processed.

Alloy 0Cr22Ni5Mo3N has a wide range of applications due to its excellent corrosion resistance, high temperature strength and good workability. It is used in industries such as construction, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage manufacturing and other industrial applications. In order to ensure process quality and good corrosion resistance, special cutting tools and processing techniques together with suitable surface treatment processes should be used in the application of alloy 0Cr22Ni5Mo3N.

Hastelloy C-22 is a widely-used nickel-based alloy. It is also known as UNS Number N06022, Alloy C22, and W.Nr. HR2. It is an alloy of nickel, chromium and molybdenum and tungsten combined with a small amount of other elements.

Hastelloy C-22 is an alloy that exhibits a combination of exceptional corrosion resistance which includes resistance to both oxidizing acids, such as nitric and sulfates acids, and reducing acids, such as phosphoric and hydrochloric. It offers outstanding resistance to local and pitting corrosion, and resistance to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking and to cracking.

Hastelloy C-22 alloy is widely used in chemical processing, pollution control, power, pulp and paper industries as well as in nuclear fuel reprocessing. It is also used in food processing and pharmaceutical production, where its resistance to corrosion makes it ideal for use in fresh water, salt water, chlorine, organic acids and solvents.

The alloy exhibits excellent die-casting properties, such as good wear resistance, making it an ideal choice for die-casting machines. It also has superior fabricability and offers good cold-forming characteristics.

Hastelloy C-22 alloy is the preferred choice for many environmental, chemical, and oil and gas applications. It offers excellent durability, formability and weldability, making it the alloy of choice in many industries. It is especially cost-effective in applications requiring long-term exposure to highly corrosive environments.
