Mechanical Properties of AISI347 (0Cr18Ni11Nb)
AISI347 (0Cr18Ni11Nb) is an austenitic stainless steel alloy which is used extensively in industries such as chemical process, construction, offshore and high temperature applications. Regarding its corrosion resistance, AISI347 stainless steel offers superior protection against a wide variety of media. It is resistant to both intergranular and transgranular corrosion. It also offers superior pitting and crevice corrosion resistance. This stainless steel has excellent weldability due to its low-alloy content and low carbon levels. In regards to its resistance to wear, AISI347 stainless steel offers good wear resistance due to its austenitic structure.
