20SiMn2MoV Alloy Structure Steel
20SiMn2MoV is a low alloy structure steel mainly used for railway vehicles and other special steel components. It is developed by combining the properties of 20SiMnMoV and the enhanced properties of 18MnNiB5, which is suitable for railway vehicles running at a speed of 250km/h or above.
20SiMn2MoV has a lower sulfur, phosphorus and sulfur content than 20SiMnMoV, which improves the weldability, plasticity and impact toughness of the steel. Furthermore, the 20SiMn2MoV steel has an improved chemical composition which produces an excellent surface quality and thereby helps to protect the components from corrosion.
The 20SiMn2MoV steel has excellent processability and thus can be formed easily into various shapes. It has good hot formability allowing components to be formed at high temperatures and pressures. In addition, it has excellent fatigue resistance which is well suited for railway vehicles running on uneven surfaces. Furthermore, it has good wear resistance due to the high carbon content of the steel and thus is suitable for use in components exposed to heavy wear and tear.
The 20SiMn2MoV steel is widely used in manufacturing of railway vehicles and components. It provides the necessary strength and flexibility required by railway components, allowing them to withstand high speed trains and heavy load carriage. It allows for higher efficiency in assembly and allows components to be easily adapted to complex design requirements with reduced design and development time.
In addition to its use in railway vehicles, the 20SiMn2MoV steel is used for other components such as agricultural machinery, machine frames and gear boxes. Its chemical composition helps to maintain the strength and ductility of the steel, which allows it to be used in a variety of applications.
Overall, the 20SiMn2MoV steel is a low alloy structure steel used for the manufacture of railway vehicles and components and other applications. Its chemical composition helps to maintain the strength and ductility of the steel, while its excellent processability makes it suitable for a variety of applications. Furthermore, its excellent fatigue resistance and wear resistance make it suitable for heavy duty applications.
