Jiangsu Inspection and Quarantine Metal Materials (Changshu) Testing Laboratory
The Jiangsu Inspection and Quarantine Metal Materials (Changshu) Testing Laboratory, located in Changshu City, Jiangsu Province, is a professional scientific research and testing center for non-ferrous metals, steel and alloys, aluminum profiles, and related industrial materials.
Founded by the Jiangsu Inspection and Quarantine Bureau in 2018, the laboratory strives to provide high quality testing services for the industrial materials and products in Jiangsu Province. The laboratory is equipped with advanced testing instruments as well as experienced and skilled personnel.
The laboratory has two main testing capabilities: namely, physical and chemical tests. Specifically, physical tests include hardness tests, impact tests, tension and compression tests, bending tests, and tensile strength tests, while chemical tests including tensile and low-temperature tests, thermal analysis, and x-ray diffraction.
In addition, the laboratory has two division centers: the Specialized Testing Center and the Non-ferrous Metal Testing Center. The Specialized Testing Center specializes in corrosion tests, fatigue tests, wave-correction tests and properties tests which are based on the requirements of GB/T 228-2002 Metal Materials Tensile Testing Method. The Non-ferrous Metal Testing Center is responsible for conducting metallographic tests, microstructural characterization tests, and spectroscopic analysis tests for non-ferrous metals.
