China Railway Construction Corporation Limited (hereinafter referred to as CRCCL or the Company) is a large, state-owned enterprise headquartered in Beijing, China. Established in 2007, CRCCL is the main contracting unit for national railway-related construction projects, and also engaged in international railway construction cooperation and related business activities. In 2012, it ranked in the Fortune 500 as #102, and in 2019 as #86. As of 31 December 2019, the total assets of the Company was 2,084,179 million.
CRCCL mainly engages in railway and urban transportation engineering construction and related operations. Its major business activities span civil construction, steel structure production and construction, laying railway lines and building integrated communication systems. It has constructed over 5,600 kilometers of railways, 13,000 kilometers of roads, and 20,000 kilometers of highways. It also undertakes large-scale energy, water supply and gas supply projects, bridge and port engineering works, urban and suburban infrastructure projects, and other public works as well as construction engineering and supervisory services.
The Company mainly relies on four major business divisions – railway construction and engineering, general contracting, urban and road engineering and infrastructure, and investment and management. It also provides related engineering tests and consulting services. Its main income sources include the construction of railways, roads, bridges, urban railways, subways and other infrastructure projects, with rail construction as the main source.
