Hot rolled H-shaped steel (GB 11263-89) (2)
Hot rolled H-shaped steel, also known as H steel for short, refers to steel in the form of H-shaped section. It is a kind of economical section steel with more optimized cross section area allocation and more reasonable strength-to-weight ratio. It is widely used in various building structures, bridges, vehicles, brackets, machinery and other structural parts, etc. GB 11263-89 specifies the size, shape and technical requirements of hot-rolled H-shaped steel. Here is an introduction to the technical requirements of GB 11263-89 hot-rolled H-shaped steel.
1. The product grade of hot-rolled H-shaped steel is Q235A, Q235B, Q235C and Q235D. The initial upper and lower quarter point widths and the steel plate thickness should conform to the stipulations of the following table.
2. The allowable deviation range of steel plate thickness: the allowable deviation of cross section width and the size tolerance can be found in Table 1-1 of GB/T 706-1994 Hot-rolled Sections and Table 1-2 of GB/T 706-1988 Hot-rolled Steel H-shaped Steel ISO.
3. The allowable deviations of lengths, heights and widths should comply with the stipulations of Table 1-3 in GB/T 706-1994 Hot Rolled Sections and Table 1-4 in GB/T 706-1988 Hot Rolled Steel H-shaped Steel ISO.
4. The allowable deviation range of steel plate diagonal should be in the range of 0-2mm, and the deviation of diagonal direction should not exceed 1mm.
5. When the steel plates thickness is not larger than 10mm, the allowable deviation range of steel plates cross section width and steel plates edge corner (including the width of edge corner) should not be greater than 0.6mm. When the steel plates thickness is greater than 10mm, the allowable deviation range of steel plates cross section width and steel plates edge corner (including the width of edge corner) should not be greater than 1.2mm.
6. The permissible range of ovality of steel plate should not be greater than 10% of the sheet thickness of steel plate.
7. The allowable deviation range of the cross section width and the length of the steel plate can not exceed the smaller value of the following two. A. ±3mm B. ±1mm of the nominal value.
In summary, GB 11263-89 hot rolled H-shaped steel has strict requirements on product grade, allowable deviation range of steel plates thickness, allowable deviation range of steel plates length, allowable deviation range of steel plates cross section width and steel plates edge corner (including the width of edge corner), allowable deviation range of oval-shaped steel plate, allowable deviation range of steel plates diagonal, and allowable deviation range of steel plates cross section width and its length.
