China Heat Treatment Association

The China Heat Treatment Association is a national-level non-profit organization approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the Peoples Republic of China. It was established in June 2005. The association is registered in Beijing.

The association’s aim is to promote the development of heat treatment industry in China, to represent the interests of its members, improve the industry’s standards and further its development nationally and internationally. It is also mandated to promote the technical improvements of the heat treatment industry and to ensure the standardization of the whole heat treatment industry in China.

There are two core parts to the association’s activities: firstly, to promote the development of the heat treatment industry by organizing conferences, seminars, review activities and the publication of “China Heat Treatment Magazine”; secondly, the association does related research in the field of heat treatment, aiming to improve the technology and further its development on an international level.

The association also carries out various social responsibilities by hosting “Heat Treatment Technical Exchanges” and helping members reach business agreements and connections for technological cooperation.

Throughout its existence, the China Heat Treatment Association has built strong relationships both domestically and internationally, including cooperation with the Institute of Metals and Metallurgy from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Machinery Industry Federation, Iron and Steel Institute of China, China Foundry Association and related governmental departments.

At present, the association has formed an effective organization structure of a secretariat, an executive committee, and several branches, including the “Steel Heat Treatment” branch and “Surface Heat Treatment” branch. More than 300 professional members, include industry companies and universities, join the association, promoting the level of communication and exchange of information within the industry.

The China Heat Treatment Association is dedicated to providing service and support to its members, as well as to promoting development and technological advancement of the heat treatment industry in China. We hope to continue building relationships and partnerships with multiple industry leaders, to further improve and expand the industry, both here and abroad.
