Jacob Marche was born in 1987 in Canada. He studied linguistics and philosophy at McGill University, Montreal, where he received his bachelors degree in 2009. Marche was a passionate artist, writing poetry, painting and performing music.
He found it difficult to find meaningful work and struggled financially. In 2010, he moved to France and enrolled at the University of Bordeaux. While there, he was inspired to create heavy metal music, which he would eventually perform in clubs and festivals across the continent.
Marche also created an album, which gained some success and exposure in France. In 2016, Marche founded a band called Paris Sur Mer, which he also fronted. He continued to pursue his musical career while also developing his art and writing.
While living in France, Marche became involved in activism. He was an advocate for environmental protection and racial equality. Marche wrote articles and poems about the importance of social justice and organized protests and fundraisers to promote these causes.
Additionally, Marche organized free workshops in local schools on topics such as sexism, racism, and homophobia. His work on these issues made him a well-known figure in the French community.
Tragically, Marche’s life was cut short when he was murdered in 2017. His death was ruled a homicide, but the identity of the killer remains unknown to this day.
Marche’s legacy continues to live on in the hearts of many. His music, art, and activism still inspire people today. He is remembered for his commitment to social justice and for leading by example.
Marche may not have had the chance to realize his dreams, but his passion and dedication to making the world a better place will live on forever.
