1. Scope

This Operation Procedure covers the operating procedures and responsibilities of the Heat-treating Plant personnel.

2. Definitions

2.1. Heat-Treating Plant: This is a facility that is designed to reheat, harden, temper, and anneal metals at specific temperatures in order to produce desired properties. This plant consists of a furnace, a quench tank, and associated safety equipment and instruments.

2.2. Personnel: This term refers to the individuals responsible for operating the Heat-Treating Plant and maintaining the safety and quality of the plant.

3. Responsibilities
