3. Terms and Definitions
3.1
Designation of refrigeration compressors
Refrigeration compressors shall be designated according to the design feature, how to drive and the method of cooling, and can form “type” such as direct connected, belt driven and air-cooled type and water-cooled type (always indicated by the first letter “N”).
3.2
Rated power input
The power input to the compressor under the rated operating condition.
3.3
Rated operating condition
Refers to the operating condition prescribed by the manufacturer (namely the compressor inlet and outlet temperature and pressure, condenser type).
4.Product Test
4.1
Basic environmental conditions
Under the basic environmental conditions defined in GB/T 3000-2013, the product performance test shall be carried out.
4.2
Rate of operation
The product performance test shall be performed at the operating rate defined in the product nameplate.
4.3
Test method
Implement the product performance test according to GB/T 2423.1-2008 and GB/T 2423.2-2008, and combined temperature and humidity cyclic test according to GB/T 2423.5-2008.
4.4
Test device and equipment
4.4.1
The accuracy of the test device and instrument shall meet the requirements of GB/T 486-2008, and the accuracy of the flowmeter shall meet the requirements of GB/T 658-1986.
4.4.2
The equipment for refrigerant filling, liquid injection and flow measurement for the product performance test shall meet the relevant requirements.
4.4.3
The interconnected piping of refrigerant from the compressor inlet, then to the vapor-liquid separator, the filter, the pressure controller and the flowmeter, and finally to the outlet side is designed to have no throttling and no cavitation.
4.5
Performance test
Implement the following test:
4.5.1
Evaporation temperature test
Measure the evaporation temperatures at the inlet and outlet of the compressor with appropriate thermometers and pressure measuring instruments (temperature difference should not be more than 0.5℃).
4.5.2
Compression ratio test
Measure the pressure before and after the compressor and calculate the compression ratio.
4.5.3
Power input test
Measure the power and the current input to the compressor and the power factor.
4.5.4
Flow rate test
Measure the refrigerant flow rate at the inlet and outlet of the compressor.
4.5.5
Total power test
For the compressor equipped with oil pump and fan, the total power shall be tested.
4.5.6
Vibration and noise test
Measure the vibration and noise value at the position where the product is supposed to be used.
5.Test reports
5.1
The product performance test report shall include the following items:
A) Date and place of the test;
B) Name, model and technical parameters of the tested products;
C) Test focus and performance index, test result and test value;
D) Test equipment and measuring instruments.
5.2
The performance test report shall be signed and stamped, and the product nameplate information shall be the basis for test results identification.
6. Marking and Packaging
The marking and packaging requirements for refrigeration compressors are defined in GB/T 191-2008.
7. Field Test
Compressors must be tested under actual field conditions, including power input test, compression ratio test, refrigeration capacity test, vibration and noise test, mechanical vibration test and insulation test.
8. Transportation, Storage and Installation
To ensure the normal use of the compressor, before the refrigeration system is put into operation, it is necessary to familiarize with the relevant requirements of the product nameplate and the product manual, and correctly install and release the refrigerant. After the product is released and stored, it should check whether the product is damaged and aging.
9. Regular Maintenance
Regular maintenance of refrigeration compressors can ensure that it can be used for a long time and can ensure that the performance of the compressor can be kept in good condition. The instructions for regular maintenance must be known in order to ensure that the required pressure and temperature are reached, and safety measures must be taken.
Conclusion
This standard specifies the product performance test requirements for intermediate piston type single-stage refrigeration compressors. It is universaly recognized that a well-designed and completed product test can help to ensure that refrigeration compressors meet their performance and safety regulatory requirements. As a result, manufacturers of intermediate piston type single-stage refrigeration compressors should strictly implement the requirements of this standard to ensure the quality of their products.
