Changzhou Wujin Second Shipyard, founded in 1945, is located in Wujin District, Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China. Over the past 72 years, Wujin Shipyard has always focused on shipbuilding and engineering, ship repair, and ship dismantling and disposal. It is one of the few large-scale shipyards in the Yangtze River Delta.
Today, Wujin Shipyard’s facilities include a dockyard, pipelines, public works, steel structures, laboratories and workshops of various sizes and types, with a total area of 176,000 square meters and water area of 9,666 square meters. Its annual production capacity is 140,000 deadweight tons (DWT). The Shipyard has had its premises on the East Coast of the Yangtze River for 72 years.
By taking advantage of the extensive repair dock, favorable geographical position and strong technical foundation, coupled with ever-increasing production and inspection equipment of international famous brands, Wujin Shipyard has won the trust of customers home and abroad by providing customers with quality services for medium and large-sized vessels. The Ship Repair Department of the Shipyard is an important and necessary support in Jiangsu Province and East China for the maintenance of medium and large-sized ships.
The Shipyard has two medium-sized dry docks, with a total length of 330 meters. The floating dock has a total length of 520 meters and a maximum tonnage of 15,000 tons. From 2014 to now, the completion of a large number of repair projects has been quite successful. Today, with the accumulated experience and technical strength, Wujin Shipyard is gradually being known and recognized by ship owners and international ship classification societies.
