The China Certified Public Accountants Association (CCPAA) is the premier organization in China dedicated to advancing the interests of certified public accountants and providing the highest level of professional service to the public. Founded in 1994, CCPAA is the only organization certified by Chinas Ministry of Finance to set and administer Chinas national certified public accountant (CPA) examinations. CCPAAs mission is to promote public accountability, establish public trust in the profession of accounting, and enhance Chinese industry innovation and competitiveness.

CPPAA is organized into four main divisions and three sub-divisions. The divisions are Assurance, Tax and Financial Planning, Consulting and Training. The sub-divisions are CPA Examination and Qualification Division, International Division, and Specialized Group.

The Assurance Division is responsible for performing audits, reviewing financial statements and issuing reports on financial condition and performance. The Tax and Financial Planning Division is responsible for providing advice on financial matters such as tax planning, trusts and estates and business succession planning. The Consulting Division provides meaningful advice to clients on how to increase their profitability, maximize their competitive advantage and minimize their business risks. The Training Division provides members with the opportunity to keep their skills and knowledge up to date.

The CPA Examination and Qualification Division administers the national CPA examinations and issues certification to successful applicants. CCPAA is the only organization that is authorized by the Ministry of Finance to certify Chinese CPAs. The International Division works to promote international exchanges of information and cooperation with other accounting associations around the world. The Specialized Groups are made up of members grouped together according to their areas of expertise such as auditing, financial management, taxation and information systems.
