Common Faults and Troubleshooting of Rice Mill
Rice mill is a common agricultural equipment widely used in rice processing. In the long-term operation of the rice mill, faults are inevitable. Common faults of rice mill and the troubleshooting measures are listed in the table below.
Fault Types and Causes
Pneumatic feeder fails to work properly
1) Compressed air pressure is insufficient or out of adjustment.
2) Improper adjustment of the inverter or incorrect parts of the drive.
3) The sealing parts of pneumatic part are damaged.
4) The magnetic valve coil is damaged.
5) The pulley belt tension is too loose.
The comprehensive level of rice is seriously unqualified
1) The opening of the air clearance is not suitable, resulting in insufficient air passing through the machine.
2) The impurities in the raw materials are too high, resulting in poor air passage.
3) The position of the outlet of the fan is too low, and the wind pressure is insufficient.
4) The rotation speed of the distributor is not adjusted properly.
5) The size of the screen mesh is too large and the crushing rate is insufficient.
The rice mill machine vibrates
1) Check whether the bolts connecting the main engine, the motor, and other parts are loose.
2) Check whether the support frame and the connection frame of the rice mill have deformation and cracks.
3) If it is found that the rice fan casting has crack or burr, it should be immediately repaired or replaced.
4) Check the gap between the grinding wheel and the slip. If the gap is too small, it should be adjusted in time.
5) Check if the bearing of the rice mill machine is worn or damaged, and replace it if necessary.
Troubleshooting Measures
1) Adjust the air pressure or the motor speed to reduce the air pressure or motor speed.
2) Adjust the position of the outlet and increase the air pressure.
3) Replace the motor with a larger motor so that it can work faster.
4) Replace the screen with a smaller mesh size to increase the crushing rate.
5) Tighten the bolts and check the support frame and connection frame for deformation and cracks.
6) Repair or replace the fan casting if a crack or burr is found, and then adjust the gap between the grinding wheel and the slip.
7) Replace the bearings.
Conclusion
Through the above introduction, we can see that there are many possible faults in the operation of the rice mill. It is necessary to take the above troubleshooting measures in time when encountering these faults, so as to make the rice mill work in its best condition and increase efficiency in the work.
