Zhenjiang Port Group Co., Ltd. (ZPGC) was established in 2002 and is one of the largest port operators in China. The company operates 15 ports along the Yangtze River, including five of the top eight ports in the region. As of April 2019, the ports handled over 100 million tons of cargo per year and had a port capacity of over 200 million tons.
ZPGC has established long-term relationships with over 300 companies worldwide and has strategic partnerships with several global leaders in the logistics industry. The company’s core business is divided into two key areas: marine transport services, and port services. Through its marine transport services, ZPGC provides efficient and secure cargo services for over 300 ports and wharves in Asia. ZPGC operates over 70 vessels, including 22 dredging vessels, three car carriers, two ferry vessels and dozens of other cargo and passenger ships. Predominantly focusing on operations within the Yangtze River, these vessels transport goods, passengers and provide liquified natural gas services.
Through its port services, ZPGC offers a complete range of services, including but not limited to; cargo and passenger services, customs clearance, storage and transshipment services, shipping agency, freight forwarding and stevedoring. ZPGC provides 24/7 end-to-end logistics solutions to its customers. The company has over 7,000 experienced employees and over 1,000 cargo vessels that are dedicated to servicing its customers in the most effective and efficient way possible.
