The Xingang ore dressing plant, located in Xihu district of Benxi City, Liaoning Province, is a key facility for economic development of the city.
The plant utilizes advanced technology to select and process high-quality iron ore resources efficiently. In this process, the ore is divided into different size ranges, larger particles being separated at the top and smaller, more valuable particles at the bottom. The process is conducted in several stages and involves mixing ore with water and chemical reagents. The mixture is heated and agitated by automated equipment to separate the valuable minerals from the non-valuable material.
The mined ore is fed into the plant which is then put into the processing system. This process produces a concentrate which is then sized and sold on the market. The plant is equipped with advanced dust removal systems, auxiliary power supply and energy conservation facilities all of which significantly reduce the environmental impact of ore dressing.
The plant has a capacity of 2 million tons per year, supplying iron ore to many steel manufacturing and metal industries in China. It is also a major employer, providing jobs to over 700 people, who together help to make Benxi City an important manufacturing hub.
The Xingang ore dressing plant is up-to-date with the most advanced ore dressing technology. It has contributed to the comprehensive development of Benxi’s economy, creating high-value jobs and providing the iron ore needed for the production of steel and other goods.
