Abstract:
In this article YB/T067-1995 “Silicon-Calcium-Barium-Aluminium Alloy” standard is studied and the content is systematically introduced. This article starts with an analysis and overview of the standard, including the related tests and requirements of the standard, followed by a detailed description of the alloy composition and properties of the silicon calcium barium aluminum alloy. Finally, the conclusions and reforms of the standard are made.
1 Introduction
Mg-Si-Ca-Ba-Al alloy (hereinafter referred to as YB/T067-1995) is a new composite aluminum alloy developed in recent years. It has good strength, wear resistance and corrosion resistance. YB/T067-1995 standards mainly include the requirements for the mechanical properties, chemical composition, heat treatment and corrosion performance of YB/T067-1995 alloy and its products. The standard has been developed from the viewpoint of application and the requirements have been improved from metallurgy, physical, chemical and other aspects in order to meet the technical needs of production, application and normalization of this alloy.
2 Analysis and overview of the standard
YB/T067-1995 is divided into six sections including general provisions, classification and mark, manufacturing requirements, testing methods, inspection rules and Supplementary provisions.
In Section 1 “General provision”, the scope of application, product inspection requirements and inspection records are explained. Section 2 details the classification and mark of the product, while Section 3 describes the manufacturing requirements. Section 4 focuses on the testing methods and Section 5 is the inspection rules. Finally, in Section 6, the Supplementary provisions are made.
3 Alloy composition and properties
The YB/T067-1995 alloy is composed of aluminum, magnesium, silicon, calcium, barium, iron and other impurities. The total content of other elements is limited. The requirements for specific chemical components are listed in Table 1.

4 Conclusion
The YB/T 067-1995 standard is a standard for the magnesium-silicon-calcium-barium-aluminum alloy. It includes the requirements for mechanical properties, chemical component, heat treatment and corrosion performance of YB/T067-1995 alloy and its products. It can be used as the basis for quality control, production and application in related fields. In addition, in view of the actual application requirements, it is necessary to further improve the standard in the future.
