After studying chemistry and entomology at the University of California, Berkeley, and receiving her Masters in Environmental Science, Gwendolyn was given a fellowship and returned to Berkeley as an adjunct professor.
Her enthusiasm for teaching was evident. She crafted passionate lectures, connected with her students, and developed an engaged learning environment through her one-on-one sessions, round-table discussions, and student-led projects. Her work in the classroom influenced the educational system, introducing topics such as sustainability, thinking processes, and the importance of communication.
