GB/T 6052-93 Industrial Liquid Carbon Dioxide
This standard was formulated in accordance with the principle of equality and mutual benefit and based on the principle of securing uniformity, safety and efficacy. It is applicable to industrial liquid carbon dioxide with purity up to 99.99%.
1. Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, storage and transportation of industrial liquid carbon dioxide (hereinafter referred to as liquid CO2).

3. Requirements
3.1 Purity
Liquid CO2 shall comply with the requirements specified in Table 1 when determined according to Method A or Method B.

4. Test Method
4.1 Determination of Carbon Dioxide Content
The carbon dioxide content of liquid CO2 shall be determined according to Method A or Method B in GB/T 684.
4.2 Determination of Carbon Monoxide Content
The carbon monoxide content of liquid CO2 shall be determined according to Method A or Method B in GB/T 685.
4.3 Determination of Carbon Dioxide Content in Oxygen
The carbon dioxide content in oxygen shall be determined according to Method A or Method B in GB/T 686.
4.4 Determination of Water Content
The water content of liquid CO2 shall be determined according to GB/T 706.
5. Inspection Rules
5.1 Sampling
5.1.1 Samples of liquid CO2 shall be taken according to the requirements of GB/T 2910.
5.1.2 The frequency of sampling depends on the production, purification and handling process of liquid CO2.
5.2 Inspection
Injuries shall comply with the requirements specified in Table 1 when chemical test methods are applied.
6. Packaging, Storage and Transportation
6.1 The liquid CO2 shall be packed in clean, dry, non-corrosive vessels.
6.2 The liquid CO2 should be stored in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place.
6.3 During the transportation of liquid CO2, the vessel should be securely fastened and the seal should be in good condition.
