My Trip to Mexico
I had always wanted to go to Mexico, so when I had the opportunity to go on a six day tour with a few of my friends, I jumped at it. Before this trip, I had never been to any foreign country, but I felt absolutely no fear as we set out.
The moment we arrived in Mexico, I felt overwhelmed by the beauty and culture of the country. I had imagined Mexican culture to be vibrant and alive, and I was right. Everywhere I went, there was music and laughter in the air. The people were lovely and friendly, and Ill never forget the warm welcome we got everywhere we went.
The first day of our trip we spent exploring the beautiful city of Mexico City. It was an incredible experience seeing the traditional architecture, the beautiful gardens, and the amazing food. Everywhere we went, people smiled at us and welcomed us to their city. That was the moment I knew that this was going to be an amazing trip.
The next few days were filled with exploration and adventure. We drove along the coast, exploring all the different beaches and towns along the way. I loved being out in the sun all day and soaking up the culture. We also visited some of Mexicos incredible historical sites, including the ancient Mayan ruins at Chichen Itza. Ive never seen anything like the architecture and design of the ruins, it was truly breathtaking.
One of the best things about the trip was the food. Everywhere we went, we found delicious and authentic Mexican cuisine. From tacos and quesadillas to spicy soups and stews, it was all scrumptious. I also loved the street food, it was so fresh and cheap!
Our last day in Mexico was spent in the beautiful city of Merida. We spent the day visiting galleries, monuments, and government buildings. I absolutely loved exploring the streets, stopping at cafes and markets, and taking part in traditional Mexican activities. It was a great way to wrap up our trip.
I have so many amazing memories from my trip to Mexico. Not only did I discover a beautiful city and culture, but I also made some great friends along the way. Mexico was an incredible experience, and Im so happy I was able to be part of it.
