Beijing Iron and Steel Design and Research Institute is an engineering enterprise affiliated to China Iron and Steel Industry Association, specializing in professional consultancy, engineering design, and quality supervision services to domestic and international steel or steel related industries. Beijing Iron and Steel Design and Research Institute, founded in the 1960s, is one of the national key engineering design and consulting institutes in Chinas iron and steel industry.
The institute has 10 major departments and is equipped with engineering design and consulting, technical research, engineering survey and experiment, project and technology management teams, as well as a complete set of quality assurance and supervision systems of engineering and construction quality. In total, the Institute has 554 professional personnel: 23 senior engineers, 36 registered engineers, and 495 intermediate engineers, 6 quality supervisors, and 5 personnel management staffs.
Beijing Iron and Steel Design and Research Institute has made remarkable achievements over the past decades in engineering design and consulting, technical research and engineering survey and experiments. All these achievements and respective technical standard formulation, R&D ability, engineering design and consulting quality and integrity were highly praised by many steel related enterprises with good comments. The institute also applied for a number of national patents and achieved the ISO90001 certification for its quality management system.
Based on engineering design and construction quality and technical consultancy, Beijing Iron and Steel Design and Research Institute extend its business to engineering budget, construction management, project cost accounting, and quality assurance and supervision, etc. The company also provides professional services in the field of steelmaking and steel product engineering, steel raw materials, civil engineering and environmental protection.
