Abstract

Rotary kiln temperature detection is the most important process parameter in cement production. With the rapid development of modern technology, the traditional manual temperature detection method has become less reliable and outdated. The installation of an automatic temperature monitoring system can help improve and optimize the production process, but the total expenditure is large. This paper mainly introduces a new and practical temperature detection method, that is, multiple thermocouple temperature detection method. The multi thermoelectric temperature detection system can effectively reduce the cost of temperature monitoring, the data is more precise and stable, and the overall production process is more efficient and effective.

1. Introduction

Cement rotary kiln is widely used in the manufacture of building materials. Its temperature control is an important process parameter for the production of high-quality cement. The temperature anomaly of rotary kiln will directly affect the product quality and work efficiency, so it is necessary to measure it in time to determine the running status of the kiln.

Generally, the temperature data of the rotary kiln can be determined by traditional manual detection method. It mainly relies on the detect method of the thermocouple and the observation experience of the technical personnel. This method is more intuitive and simple, and requires less equipment, however, the observation personnel are lack of experience, the detection data is easy to be affected by human factors and temperature of the rotary kiln will varies greatly with the changes of the environment, leading to unstable production process and wrong choice of technical parameters.

2. Multi Thermocouple Temperature Detection system

To solve the above problems, the multiple thermocouple temperature detection system was designed,which uses a series of thermocouple to detect the temperature of the rotary kiln, so as to obtain more accurate and stable data. This method can systematically detect the temperature of kiln in a certain section, and the data can be used to adjust the parameter direction.

The multiple thermocouple temperature detection system is composed of the main machine, the data transmission line, the signal collection module and the control unit. When in use, the thermocouples are evenly distributed around the rotary kiln in a certain section, and the signal to be collected is transmitted back to the main machine by the data transmission line. Then the signal is collected and analyzed by the signal collection module, after which the temperature signal is sent back to the control unit to form a closed-loop control system.

When the temperature deviation exceeds the preset parameters, the signal can be returned to the main unit to constantly adjust the parameter direction, so that the data can be more accurate, more reliable, and more stable.

The operation process of multiple thermocouple temperature detection system is as follows: First of all, the staff purchase the main machine, the data transmission line, the signal collection module, and the control unit required for installation and operation. Before installation, the staff should carefully review the manual of the device, select the correct thermocouple number and interval according to the actual situation, and evenly distribute the thermocouples in a certain section of the kiln.

After the thermocouple is correctly installed and connected, the main system can be put into use. Start the control unit, and adjust the parameters of alarm and control according to the requirement. The signal will be collected and managed by the main machine in a timely manner, so that the whole system can realize the monitoring operation of the rotary kiln in a long-term and uninterrupted way.

Third, when the deviation of temperature is large, the signal information can be returned to the main engine in time to adjust the parameter direction, so as to realize the closed-loop control of the whole system.

5. Conclusion

In summary, the multi-thermocouple temperature detection system is a new, practical and cost-efficient method for detecting the temperature of rotary kilns. Compared with manual methods, this method involves less human factors, and produces more reliable data. Through this method, the rotary kiln temperature can be well detected and monitored, thus optimizing the overall production process and improving production efficiency.
