This survey report is prepared to figure out the best approach to product engineering analysis. Product engineering analysis is paramount for complex products, as it provides a detailed breakdown of components and processes required for product’s development and manufacture.

Methodology

Qualitative and quantitative methods were employed to collect and analyze required data. Through interviews with experts in product engineering and analysis and also through questionnaire distribuiton among same experts, we have obtained qualitative data. On the other hand, our researchers have scoured available literature materials and discovered a number of analytical tools and techniques that can be used in product engineering analysis. These quantitative data were collected and analyzed.

Analysis

Analysis of qualitative data obtained from experts revealed that a lot of importance is accorded to product engineering analysis, compelling the organization to do a very thorough analysis. Each component of the product design should be engineered, tested, and iterated separately when engineering a complex product.

Furthermore, engineers should focus more on the quality and robustness of the product design rather than meeting the deadline for completion of the product design.

Analysis of the literatures and collected documents showed that a number of design approaches and techniques can be used in successful product engineering analysis. The analysis revealed that, a thorough and detailed product engineering analysis is the best approach to successful development and manufacture of complex product. Also analysis of the literatures revealed that a number of design approaches and techniques can be used in successful product engineering and analysis.
