Founded in 1988, Lenovo Group, formerly known as Legend Group, is one of Chinas leading enterprises in the computer and IT industry. Headquartered in Beijing, it has become one of the worlds leading PC makers and has the worlds fourth largest market share in the personal computer market.

Overview

Lenovo Group is devoted to continuously develop and increase the competences of PC products, in the aspects of services, software, and reliable technology associated with PCs and other products. It is dedicated to build an extensive international distribution, to construct e-commerce platform, to provide clients with specialized personalized services as well, to create an ecosystem that consists of mutual ties between Lenovo and its partners together with multi brand stores, individual sellers, and agents all around the world.

In the face of the enormous challenge of global economic crisis in 2008, Lenovo Group has adopted a strategy of aggressive growth and increased its investment rate at infrastructure information, among other new initiatives. The same year, it also launched the world’s first dual platform (Intel & AMD) mobile work station, the ThinkPad W700. In 2012, Lenovo Group became the world’s largest PC manufacturer.
