Introduction of Dongguan Steel Circulation Industry Association
Dongguan Steel Circulation Industry Association, established in 2018, is committed to promoting the healthy and sustainable development of steel circulation and related industries. It is an inclusive, non-profit and industry self-regulation and self-discipline organization composed of steel circulation enterprises, intermediary organizations and individuals nationwide.
As the only comprehensive nationwide organization focusing solely on steel circulation, the Association is actively promoting the healthy development of the industry. It serves as a bridge between members, and between members and the government, providing a consensus platform for industry participants and government to share resources, exchange and cooperate. The association adheres to a service-oriented philosophy and strives to provide members with economic and legal services such as member service management, corporate team building, product quality assurance and marketing support.
At present, the association has over 400 members, including steel trade companies, service providers, metal processing enterprises, steel raw material and equipment manufacturers and other related organizations. The association is headquartered in Dongguan, Guangdong Province, with service branches in more than 30 major cities across China, so as to better reach out to and serve its members.
Objectives of the Dongguan Steel Circulation Industry Association
The main goals of the Association are to:
1. Enhance the industrys capacity of self-discipline management and promote the healthy development of the steel circulation industry.
2. Facilitate steel circulation enterprises’ communication, cooperation and mutual support.
3. Foster collaboration with government and relevant organizations to jointly develop the industry.
4. Establish and improve industry standards, promote the circular economy, and create an innovative and sustainable environment for the industry.
5. Promote corporate culture, protect legal rights and interests of companies, and regulate industry standards.
6. Provide members with economic, legal and other professional services.
7. Increase the collaboration between enterprises of China and foreign countries, and promote the internationalization of China’s steel circulation industry
Activities of the Dongguan Steel Circulation Industry Association
1. Participate in the formulation of industry standards and regulations.
2. Provide various professional and consultancy services to members.
3. Organize and participate in industry activities, forums and other gatherings.
4. Assist in resolving conflicts between members.
5. Hold activities related to promoting the international development of steel circulation industry
6. Encourage commercial collaborations both within and outside of China, and promote trading of steel-related products and services.
