Tangshan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as Tangsteel) is a large state-owned enterprise in the steel industry. It is located in Tangshan City, Hebei Province and is known as the cradle of Chinas steel industry.
Established in January 1994, Tangsteel is a state-owned enterprise that operates according to law. Tangsteel was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in April 2004 (stock code: 600010) and became a constituent stock of the Shanghai Stock Exchange At the same time it entered the constituent stocks of the CSI 300, making it the only benchmark stock for the iron and steel industry in China.
Tangsteels business covers iron ore smelting and rolling processing, iron and steel, coking and chemical engineering, mining, and deep processing and engineering of steel products, in addition to its large-scale plate, color plate and profile steel production and sales. The products, including deformed bar, wire, medium plate, hot rolled, cold rolled, color panel, hot-dip galvanized, pre-painted galvanized, stainless steel and other medium and wide plate and strip, are widely used in construction, automobile, petrochemical and other industries.
