Michael Patrick Pacquin, or Mike as most of his friends called him, was an amazing person. The type of person who just seemed to naturally bring a smile to everyone’s face. The type of person who found the good in all situations, no matter how bad things may have seemed.
A born storyteller, Mike seemed to make everyone he talked to feel included and genuinely interested in what he had to say. His positive attitude and demeanor could have been felt from miles away, and it was almost as if the person he was with was the center of the universe. His enthusiasm for life was contagious.
Growing up Mike held a variety of different jobs while still in high school, from working at a local grocery store to working on a dairy farm. His responsibilities on the farm ranged from taking care of the calves and cleaning the barn, to helping plant and harvest crops. Mike’s hard work on the farm ultimately allowed him to save enough money to go to college.
With his strong work ethic, Mike was accepted to a reputable university in the area and eventually earned his degree in engineering with honors. His hard work and dedication paid off, as he was able to find a job in his chosen field. He had already started forming a reputation around town for being determined and successful.
People around town knew that Mike was a reliable person to go to for help, whether it was for a project or advice. He could always be counted on to come through with what he said he’d do. This kind of attitude didn’t go unnoticed, as he quickly made lifelong friends and earned respect from the people around him.
Wildly ambitious, Mike could often been found dreaming big and reaching for the stars. He wasn’t afraid to take risks and put himself out there, and he never shied away from an opportunity even if it seemed daunting. His courage and ambition allowed him to achieve great success, but more importantly, Mike found joy in just being alive.
When he wasn’t tending to his job or trying to create something new and exciting, Mike could often be found enjoying a variety of activities that allowed him to get to know the people around him. Whether he was playing a game of pool with acquaintances or simply chatting with friends, Mike was always looking for new experiences and relationships that could deepen his understanding of the world.
Mike Pacquin’s life was remarkable and truly inspirational. From his humble beginnings to his amazing success, Mike was a person who everyone admired and aspired to be like. His kind heart, positive attitude, and never-ending optimism will never be forgotten, and his legacy will continue to inspire and bring smiles to the faces of people for many years to come.
