Size range of large, medium and small steel

Steel sizes range from tiny to extra large, depending on the application. Tiny steel sizes refer to wire or flat sheets that are thinner than 0.05 millimeters. The thickness of the steel generally increases with size, up to about 140 millimeters for extra large steel sizes.

In general, large steel products measure from 200x200mm up to 4,000x20,000mm, medium steel products measure from 6x6mm up to 200x200mm, and small steel products measure from 1.5x1.5mm to 12x12mm.
