Chinas Thermal insulation and Sound insulation Materials Association
Chinas Thermal insulation and Sound insulation Materials Association (CITSMA) is a non-profit professional organization composed of members who are mainly engaged in the research, production, and sale of thermally and sound-insulated materials. The Association was founded in 2005 and is sponsored by Chinas Ministry of Construction and other relevant authorities to take charge of overall development and supervision of related businesses in China.
The Associations main mission is to standardize the industrys technological achievements, promote exchange and cooperation between all members, and to coordinate the industrys long-term strategic planning, development and collaboration.
The Association provides membership in two categories: associate and full, with the former being eligible for various activities such as conventions and exhibitions, as well as obtaining technical consultation, business and marketing support. Whereas full members enjoy addition benefits such as guaranteeing quality and ensuring product standards, while also providing legal advice on the purchasing and selling of product designs and intellectual property rights.
CITSMA organizes various activities such as product competitions, training and technical exchanges, covering topics such as the application of thermaland sound insulation materials, safety requirements, standardization, and proper selection and utilization of materials. The annual convention and exhibition is the most significant and influential event organized by the Association. It is attended by experts and scholars from China, as well as other countries, to discuss and exchange their views on the latest research progress, technological innovations, and industrial development.
The Associations members consist primarily of corporate representatives, who are the main operating bodies for the implementation of the members programs and initiatives.
In the context of globalization and international standardization, the Association will continue to uphold its mission to promote the development of Chinas thermal and soundproof insulation materials market by exchanging technologies and knowledge, and promoting information sharing and collaborations worldwide. It will also continue to promote the healthy and orderly development of the industry, while confronting the challenges of an increasingly competitive industry.
The Association values its members interests, and provides financial and technical support to members facing difficulties. It also regularly publishes bulletins and newsletters to keep its members informed on the latest industry development, which further strengthens its role as an advocate of the industry.
In light of Chinas pursuit of sustainable development and its commitment to the Environmentally Friendly energy efficiency principles, the Association will continue to promote the advancement of thermal and soundproof insulation materials, while striving to reach the common goals of environmental protection and advancing the nations environmental standards.
