It is the government’s job to maintain harmony between these different ethnicities, and promote their respective cultures.
The government is actively promoting multiculturalism through a number of different strategies and actions. The administration has set forth policies to ensure the recognition and respect of the diverse cultures in China. These policies are implemented through education, media, and other programs. Schools can also play a role in reinforcing the principles of multiculturalism.
