Foreign Affairs University
Foreign Affairs University (FAU) is the leading institution for international trade education and research in China. Founded in 1982, FAU is the largest full-time international university in the country. It is located in Beijing, the capital of China, and provides a full range of undergraduate and graduate education, with concentrations in international trade, international finance, international business and international relations. The University is sponsored by the Ministry of Education and is one of China’s key universities.
The University’s mission is to foster excellence in international scholarship and provide a high-quality collaborative environment that encourages critical thinking, creative problem solving and innovative thinking. To accomplish this, the University offers an engaging, interdisciplinary, international and innovative curriculum. It also takes an active role in developing international partnerships and student exchange programs.
FAU offers a comprehensive curriculum on international trade, international economics, international finance and international business. Students learn through lectures, laboratory experiments, field trips, and research projects. The focus is on providing students with a valuable background in the fields of international trade and finance, so that they can acquire the skills necessary for successful careers in international business, finance, consulting and other related fields.
At FAU, there are three schools, the Faculty of International Trade, the Faculty of International Business and the Faculty of International Finance. All three faculties offer bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in their respective fields. In addition, the University also offers certificate and license programs. The Faculty of International Trade consists of three departments: International Business, International Trade and International Economics. The Faculty of International Business consists of three departments: International Business Administration, International Business Communications and International Business Strategies. The Faculty of International Finance consists of four departments: International Accounting, International Banking, International Financial Management and International Investment.
FAU offers a variety of student services, such as career counseling, financial aid, student organizations, student activities and academic advising. The University also houses a variety of research centers and institutes, such as the Center for International Trade Studies, the Institute for International Business Studies and the University’s International Trade and Investment Office.
The University also holds events that attract international visitors, such as the annual International Trade and Investment Conference. The Annual Conference of International Trade and Investment brings together scholars, practitioners and government officials from around the world to discuss important trends, developments and opportunities in international business, finance and economics.
In addition, FAU has established partnerships with major international organizations, such as the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and the World Trade Organization, to explore new opportunities in international trade and finance. The University also has a strong presence in the international academic community, regularly attending and organizing conferences and seminars, such as the International Symposium on International Trade and Finance, which is held every year in Beijing.
