This paper aims to discuss the application of extrusion rods for copper alloy forging. Copper alloy forging is a process of manufacturing by forging and forming the alloy under pressure, the material is heated and then forced into the desired shape using various tools and dies, to form a more complex and curved shape with superior performance characteristics, a process called cold working is typically used to create a hard, compact shape. Extrusion rods play an important role in this forging process. They are used as a starting material to produce a more complex and hard shape that can withstand a variety of tests and have a very high degree of accuracy. This paper will discuss the advantages of using extrusion rods for copper alloy forging and the various processes involved in using extrusion rods.
