Founded in 1965, Lanzhou China Five Metals and Iron Steel Co., Ltd. is a large-scale integrated enterprise located in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, China. It is supported by the geographical advantages of Lanzhou, strategically located on the intersection of three railway lines, the Lanzhou-Xinjiang line, the East-West line and the Gansu-Sichuan line. It is the major railway hub from the southeast to the northwest of China and the largest distribution center for steel in Northwest China.
Also known as “Five Metals” for short, Lanzhou China Five Metals and Iron Steel has always been committed to the development of ferrous and non-ferrous metals industry and has always been at the forefront of the industry in terms of production and innovation. Lanzhou China Five Metals and Iron Steel is equipped with an advanced production facility, which includes an electric arc furnace with a smelting capacity of 3 tons/hour, four horizontal continuous casting machines, two 720mm billet cutting machines, two 400mm hot roll mills and four bright annealing furnaces. The products produced by this facility include round-bar steel, steel plates, square steel, mandrel round steel and steel bars of various specifications.
In 1998, Five Metals introduced technological and management concepts from the worlds leading developed countries, such as Germany and the United States, and formed its own core competitiveness. The company has obtained ISO 9001 quality management system certification, ISO 14001 environmental management system certificate and other certificates, with perfect quality assurance efficiently in the production process.
