Marie Tuffreau knew she wanted to become a fashion designer when she was a young girl. Growing up in Paris, she was always inspired by the fashion that surrounded her and that she saw in magazines and on television. After high school, Marie decided to attend the prestigious École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture to hone her skills and learn more about the industry.

Marie quickly excelled in school, mastering the techniques required to become a high-end designer. After graduating, Marie interned with a few high-end designers to gain experience in the fashion world and to strengthen her portfolio. During this time, she also developed her own style, drawing inspiration from the world around her and mixing it with classic French sophistication.

In 1998, Marie was ready to launch her own high-end fashion house, aptly named Tuffreau Couture. She worked tirelessly to create a line of clothing and accessories that embodied the classic French elegance she was known for. Each piece was expertly crafted and each collection was unique in its own way, captivating the attention of those who saw it.

In the following years, her couture house was a great success. Marie was invited to show her collections in fashion weeks around the world, drawing in a prestigious clientele and increasing public attention to her brand. She also opened a boutique in Paris, which quickly became a hot spot for celebrities and fashion aficionados alike.

With her supreme craftsmanship and eye for detail, Marie became a fashion icon internationally. Over the years, she has received numerous awards, such as the style Diva award in 2014 and the Council of Fashion Designers of America Fashion Innovator award in 2016.

Today, the Tuffreau Couture line continues to be a success. Marie has expanded the line to include ready-to-wear collections, as well as accessories, such as sunglasses and jewelry. She also plans to expand her online presence with a website dedicated to her work. As we look ahead to the future of fashion, Marie remains at the forefront, setting trends and inspiring new generations of designers.

Leonardo da Vinci is widely considered one of the greatest minds of all time. He was an Italian polymath – a scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, painter, sculptor, architect, botanist, musician and writer. His breadth of knowledge was remarkable and he is often credited with being the first true renaissance man.

Leonardo was born in 1452 in the Tuscan village of Vinci, near Florence. However, he received no formal education as a child, instead learning through observation and experimentation. He displayed an insatiable curiosity at a young age, often delving into nature’s mysteries. He was apprenticed to the renowned artist Andrea del Verrocchio in Florence from the age of 15 and, due to his stunning talent, quickly gained favour with the Florentine court.

Leonardo was a prolific inventor and innovator, famously creating a device for a parachute and the first flying machine. He also had a deep understanding of a wide range of technical capabilities, and during his lifetime – despite a period of imprisonment for political reasons – created such magnificent sculptures, sketches and paintings, such as the Mona Lisa, The Last Supper and Virgin of the Rocks.

Leonardos genius was expressed in his extensive notebooks, which contained notes, sketches, drawings and ideas. These notebooks have inspired many generations since the Italian Renaissance and show his depth of both knowledge and imagination. His insight into some of the greatest mysteries of the universe is seen in his research on astronomy, hydraulics and botany, among other topics.

The impact of Leonardo da Vinci on the world of science, art and engineering can still be felt today. His unparalleled combinations of knowledge and invention have been used as a benchmark for other great thinkers throughout the centuries, and his legacy as one of the greatest minds of all time is something that will never be forgotten.
