Self-Assessment
I believe I am an individual who is honest, reliable and hardworking. Being a firm believer in academics, I have always maintained my strong focus on studies while at the same time taking due interest in extra-curricular activities. My leadership, team-building, problem-solving and communication skills have been put to the test in various projects and have always garnered me appreciation from my peers and instructors.
Throughout my academic career, I have been consistently receiving excellent grades in my courses. I have also held several important key roles in college committees, where I had the responsibility to organize and lead several successful events. My confidence and expertise in the field of interactive technology, understanding of the requirement of managing groups, working in teams, and the ability to lead teams has been essential in some of the best events that I was associated with.
Besides academics, I enjoy getting involved with charity events and engaging in activities which contribute in bettering the living conditions of my society. I am also involved in extracurricular activities with the focus of teaching basic computer skills to junior students. I am quite committed and serious in my projects and foresaw the completion of the same, both on time and with utmost perfection.
I have been consistently looking out for opportunities to gain professional experience. I applied and participated in an internship program at Google, and worked as a Software Engineer. I was put in charge of coding and debugging, and was also required to create and maintain applications. I was at the same time assigned to discover and evaluate alternatives for integrating new software and technologies.
I am the kind of person who would never back away from taking up new challenges. My problem solving and logical thinking skills are highly valued. I am also social by nature and do not shy away from networking with people. In a nutshell I can take pleasure in stating that I am an individual who has grown considerably in all my endeavors, both academically, professionally and personally.
