The Little Prince is an importance of movie created by directors Mark Osborne and William Joyce. It follows burned-out aviator, who has been stranded in the desert and is encountered by a small boy who claims to be a prince from another planet. This prince introduces the aviator to a world of wonders through his tales of confronting a multitude of eccentric characters, discovering his home planet, and harboring immense love for a beautiful rose.
The film is greatly characterized by the incredible animation and cinematic presentation. The story itself is quite inspiring. Through the Prince’s own travels the audience is taken on a unique journey which meets various adventures and surprises along the way. In contrast to the typical stories of fairytales and folklore, the Theme of the Little Prince transcends age and gender and demonstrates that each person, no matter their background, is capable of putting forth effort and showing kindness and generosity to others in extraordinary circumstances.
The juxtaposition between childishness and adulthood is another theme that is explored in the film. Through the Prince’s interaction with various characters, the audience is presented with a range of perspectives to consider.
From the eccentric Fox to the King’s obsession with a vain quest for greatness, each character provides the Prince with a deeper understanding about the truth and beauty of life.
