Design of Dehydration Workshop for Magnesium Raw Materials

Introduction

Magnesium is an important industrial raw material involved in many production processes, including electronics, metal processing, aircraft and many other industries. Its use can improve the quality of the end product, making it a must-have raw material for many factories. As it must be preserved in a certain moisture content, it is very important to have a dehydration process before use. The workshop design of magnesium dehydration is discussed in this paper.

Process Flow Design

The process flow design of the magnesium dehydration workshop mainly includes the following steps (Figure 1):

1. Magnesium raw materials entering the workshop: magnesium raw materials enter the workshop through the magnesium raw materials entrance.

2. Magnesium raw materials are separated on the separating conveyer: the raw materials are passed through the separating conveyer to separate the impurity material and the pure magnesium material.

3. Magnesium material is fed into the dehydration chamber by the conveying device: The pure magnesium material after separation is fed into the dehydration chamber by the conveying device and the dehydration process is started.

4. The dehydrated material is conveyed to the packing station for packaging. The dehydrated material is then packed for shipment to the customer.

Equipment Selection

Separating conveyor

The selection of the separating conveyor is based on the characteristics of the material to be separated. According to the properties of magnesium raw materials, the multilayer metal wind draw-type conveyor can be selected as the separating conveyor, which can separate the magnesium raw material into pure magnesium material and waste material. The metal draw-type conveyor has the characteristics of high separating efficiency, high efficiency, small space occupation and low noise, which is suitable for this process.

Dehydration chamber

The dehydration chamber is the key equipment of the dehydration workshop. According to the requirements of the dehydration process, the double tank bunker dryer can be chosen, which can realize the multi-stage dehydration process with respect to the design of the dehydration parameters. With an external wall heater, the dehydration process can be completed in a short time with large capacity, high efficiency and good product quality.

Conveying device

Packing station

The packing station can be selected as the semi-automatic packing station, which is easy to operate and has a high packaging capacity.
