ABC Corporation Limited has an exciting opportunity for a talented Immigration Officer to join its team of professionals, located in the heart of London. This is a full-time, permanent position.
We are looking for an individual who is eager to make the transition from an entry-level position to a more senior, managerial role. The right candidate is someone who is highly organized, able to think strategically and has a good understanding of immigration policy and procedures.
The Immigration Officer will be responsible for all aspects of the work required to secure a visa/work permit/permanent residency permit and/or any other form of immigration status. This involves liaising with and guiding applicants through government and other relevant agencies, preparing and submitting applications and providing advice and assistance to help ensure a successful outcome.
The Immigration Officer will also be developing and maintaining relationships with sponsors and prospective employers, preparing and submitting reports and maintaining accurate records of all applications processed.
To be considered for this role, you must have the following qualifications:
• Degree in a relevant field such as international relations, law, or public policy
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of immigration processing and laws
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• An ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with SPS or similar visa processing or immigration software systems
• Ability to handle a varied and demanding workload
