OK Autrod 12.51 is a low-alloy chrome-nickel-molybdenum welding wire for welding high-strength low-alloy steel for bolting and other high-pressure piping applications. It provides better mechanical properties than martensitic steels and offers some corrosion resistance.

The wire feeds easily, produces minimal spatter and maintains excellent bead profile even when welding in all-position. It also produces an excellent bead appearance with reduced cleanup time.

OK Autrod 12.51 features a low-alloy and medium-carbon content to provide good mechanical properties and excellent weldability. The low-alloy and medium-carbon content of this wire make it a good choice for welding bolting parts of high-pressure piping.

Also, the wire provides good corrosion resistance in highly-corrosive environments like seawater, saltwater and other aggressive chemical atmospheres. It can also produce a full joint penetration welds with good fusion.
