Physical Properties

Additionally, it has a hardness of the delivery state of 155- 201 HB, a hardness after quenching of 254-232 HB, and a hardness after tempering of 150-208HB.

Processing

Generally, the normalizing and quenching are used for the processing of 22MnVBHA steel, which will make it more homogeneous. This can ensure that the steel has a more uniform microstructure and a better combination of plasticity and toughness. The heating temperature during normalizing should be 900-950 °C, which should be heated for 30 minutes for each 20 mm thickness of the material, and then cooled in air.
