Working Principle and Application of Measuring Machine Discharge Overflow Lock Air Valve

The control valve is an important control element in the process system of the measuring machine. The opening and closing of the control valve can adjust the flow rate of the fluid in the pipe, so as to achieve a certain system pressure or flow. The discharge overflow lock air valve is an important type of regulating and controlling valve. Its main function is to regulate the medium flow by sliding and buffering according to the requirements of the process. And the discharge overflow lock air valve is also a protection measure, using the pressure difference between two sides of the valve to directly cut off the outlet water source when the pipe is blocked, breaking the feedwater cycle, so as to prevent the pressure in the pipe from increasing indefinitely.

The discharge overflow lock air valve is generally composed of valve body, valve seat, valve hinged seat, stainless steel hinge pin and valve disc. When the valve disc is closed, the pilot nozzle port is sealed and stopped, and the air flow in the valve body flows back to the valve seat. The upper part of the pilot nozzle connection port is connected with the pipeline system of the measuring machine, and the lower part of the pilot nozzle connection port connects to the atmosphere. As long as there is a certain height difference between the inlet and outlet of the valve body, the outlet is lower than the inlet, and the upper part of the pilot nozzle connection port is higher than the lower part, so that a water pressure difference will be naturally formed in the pilot nozzle connection port.

When the pressure in the pipe system of the measuring machine is normal, the air pressure generated by the air in the valve body rises rapidly, which directly lifts the valve disc; when the pressure in the pipe system of the measuring machine is higher than the set pressure, the pressure difference generated by the pilot nozzle port will push the valve disc downwards, blocking the outlet, so as to prevent the pressure in the measuring machine from increasing indefinitely. When the valve disc is blocked, the outlet and discharge channel are sealed, and the overflowing water is blocked in the discharge channel, so that the water cycle is broken and the pressure in the pipe of the measuring machine will not continue to rise. Moreover, when the valve is closed, the noise between the valve seat and the disc is still within the range of the national standard.

Due to the structure and working principle of the discharge overflow lock air valve, it has the characteristics of fast action, small flow resistance and good stability, which is suitable for the medium with bubbles, suspended solids and poor pipeline seal. It can be used in the water conservancy project, chemical industry, air conditioning engineering, industrial and mining enterprises. Its use can reduce the possibility of malfunction of the measuring machine caused by environmental causes and extend the service life of the machine.
