After hundreds of years, the US government develop the immigration system gradually. The US immigration policy is also changing randomly with the time. In 2021, US immigration policy changed to an extent, as we planned to introduce a registry system, a comprehensive immigration reform bill, and a new immigration legal system for immigration.
The registry system was created to allow people to legalize their status in the United States and to provide them with basic immigration information. This system will include the number of people registered, location and address, the employer, employment authorization, and the status of the immigration application. The registry will also provide information on the national interest waiver, employment authorization, and immigration benefits.
The comprehensive immigration reform bill would provide a path to citizenship for millions of undocumented immigrants and make it easier for many others to obtain lawful immigration status. This bill would include key provisions such as a pathway to citizenship, permit current immigrants to apply for legal permanent residence, and expand existing employment authorization and temporary visa programs. It would also provide a timeline for the legalization and naturalization of those already present in the U.S. and would require the enforcement of immigration laws.
The new immigration legal system would provide a complete and comprehensive immigration system that would provide legal guidance and resources to all immigrants, from those applying for permanent residency to those seeking asylum or temporary entry to the United States. This system would allow for fast and efficient processing of applications, and would make sure immigrants had access to necessary legal support. It would also make sure that everyone involved in the immigration process – from employers to applicants – had access to the same information, thereby ensuring that all immigrants were treated equitably and their rights properly respected.
The introduction of a registry system, comprehensive immigration reform bill, and a new immigration legal system would drastically change the immigration landscape in the United States. This would open up many new paths to lawful immigration status and allow those with necessary skills and knowledge to come to the United States in search of a better life. It would also increase access to legal counsel and make sure that immigrants were treated with respect and dignity.
At the same time, the implementation of these comprehensive reforms would also bring new challenges in the form of employer compliance, national security measures, and the potential for abuse of the system. However, with proper oversight and strong enforcement, US immigration policy can both protect US citizens and citizens from other countries from potential exploitation and provide those who come to the United States with the resources and opportunities for a better life.
