History
Harbin Transmission Gear Factory, established in 1965, was established as the first large-scale transmission gear manufacturing enterprise in China. The factory was part of the Wuhan Automotive Industry Corporation, established in 1973. After the establishment of the Hafei Automobile Factory in 1979, it became a subsidiary of the Harbin Automobile Industry Corporation, and in 1988 it was formally merged into the First Automotive Group and changed its name to Harbin Automotive Component Manufacturing Company.

Harbin Transmission Gear Factory produces transfer case assemblies, synchronizers and other transmission gears for manual transmission and advanced automatic transmission. Its products are comprehensively used in transmission systems of medium and heavy commercial vehicles and passenger vehicles in China. Its products have been applied on various truck models such as SCN6160NJG, SCN6160LP and SCN4160LP, as well as on automobile models such as Changan CS75 and JAC Refine S5.
