International Agriculture Development Fund

The objective of the International Agriculture Development Fund (IADF) is to assist developing countries in their efforts to increase agricultural productivity, reduce rural poverty and create vibrant rural communities. The IADF was established in 1999 in response to the need for improved agricultural research, training and services for poorer countries. Since then, the IADF has been a key player in promoting sustainable agricultural development and has funded projects in more than 30 countries.

These are designed to support projects that aim to develop better agronomic practices, improve access to extension services, create agricultural cooperatives and address the challenges of climate change.
The IADF also invests heavily in research and gathers data on agriculture production and policies. This data is then used to inform national and international agricultural policies, helping to shape the future of agricultural development.
