The Process of Color Coated Steel Plate
The color coated steel plate is made from the galvanized steel plate or aluminum zinc steel plate after surface treatment (degreasing, cleaning, chemical conversion, galvanized or aluminum zinc plating, etc.) by coating one or several layers of organic paint on the surface. It has the advantages of light weight, beautiful appearance, pleasant color, and long lasting protection. Therefore, it has become the choice of modern construction.
First, the process of color coated steel plate production:
1. Uncoiling: The raw material coils are spread on the uncoiler of the color coated plate production line, and the original plate strips are continuously fed, and the entire longitudinal side is moved in a straight line.
2. An Italian designed air levelling machine that corrects plate surface shape, simple operation and low cost.
3. Clearing: The purpose of cleaning is to remove oil and adhesives on the surface of the steel sheet to ensure cleanliness and chemical composition of the steel sheet.
4. Pre-treatment and cleaning: chemical treatment and electro-cleaning are adopted to remove surface oxides and oil, rust, etc. to prepare for coating.
5. Primer coating inspection: The surface of the steel plate is coated with primer or the second coating film on a continuous flow basis in a predetermined time and the length. The purpose is to reduce the porosity of the surface, protect and effectively passivate the steel sheet from corrosion. The primer needs to be inspected for visual defects such as deformation, wrinkles and blisters, etc. .
6. The drying oven accelerates the chemical reaction of the primer to form a continuous and strong coating film.
7. Take off the film inspection: After the primer is formed, color paste is printed on the surface of the steel plate with a precise ink roller, roller system and color slurry to form a coating film of the required color.
8. Overhead drying: The oven heats the color paste with hot air, evaporates the solvent in the paste, and fuses the polyester and other resinous components in the film. The film is smooth and permeable, and the polymer adhesive resins react to form a strong adhesion with the primer.
9. Coating inspection. The surface of the film is inspected for defects such as deformation, wrinkles, and blisters.
10. Die cutting: It is used for cutting a variety of shapes and sizes of color coated steel plates, and is widely used in industries such as stainless steel plates, galvanized sheets, bold steel plates and galvanized steel sheets. It adopts a modulated design.
11. Automatic packaging: After the color coated steel plate has passed the inspection and passed the acceptance, it is finally deposited into the packaging device where it is automatically weighed, packaged, stamped and printed.
In summary, these are the processes involved in the production of the color coated steel plate. To ensure the product quality, it is important to control the quality of each process. It is also essential to use the necessary protective equipment to effectively prevent workers from inhaling toxic gases.
