Lanzhou Nonferrous Metallurgy Design Institute, founded in 1970, is a wholly state-owned first-class engineering design institute approved by the State Council and a unit that passes the ISO9001 international quality system certification. It is the only one in the country that has the ability to provide complete set, multiple series and various kinds of engineering design and consulting services of nonferrous metallurgy, the main products are all kinds of non-ferrous metals, new energy and advanced materials, such as lead-zinc smelting and production, life cycle services of battery recycling, rare earth comprehensive utilization, cobalt comprehensive utilization, rare metals comprehensive utilization, liquid gas smelting, advanced materials and new energy.

At present, the institute has 16 departments and 138 professional technicians, including 18 senior engineers and 23 intermediate engineers. Relying on powerful professional and technical strength, scientific management methods and advanced digital information processing and application technologies, it provides customers with strong technical support in the field of nonferrous metallurgy.
