Welding Technology Specification for Steel Structures in Building Construction of JGJ81-2002 (VI)
Welding is a commonly used technology in steel structure building construction. In order to promote the standardization of welding technology and reduce welding defects, the welding technology specification for steel structures for building construction of JGJ81-2002 (VI) was formulated on the basis of the technology specification for welding of steel structures of 1978 and the welding technology specification for steel structures for building construction specialized standard of 1994, which mainly considers the practice of welding technology in steel structure building construction.
The specification mainly divided into seven parts. The first part is the scope and purpose of the specification, which mainly states the scope of application and purpose of the specification; the second part is the normative documents, which mainly states the related documents and standards required for welding technology; the third part is the welding materials, which mainly includes the requirements of welding materials such as basic materials, welding wires and welding rods, fluxes and other consumables and protective gases; the fourth part is the welding process, which mainly requires welding operation methods, welding current and voltage, welding speed, welding sequence, preheating temperature and interpass temperature, convexity and overheat, restoration and other factors; the fifth part is the welding structure joint, which mainly presents two kinds of welding fish bones and figure-8 joints, and states that the welding fishbone should use staggered joints, and the figure-8 joint should be used in the frame joints; the sixth part is the welding inspection, which mainly includes the requirements of marking, welding inspection and nondestructive testing; the seventh part is the qualification inspection and evaluation, which mainly includes rules and requirements of fabrication and welding qualification, welding process files and welders certification.
Above is an introduction to the welding technology specification for steel structures for building construction of JGJ81-2002 (VI). In general, this specification requires materials, processes and structure joints to meet certain requirements in order to ensure the quality of welding structures in building construction. It is helpful for the popularization of welding technology in steel structure building construction, the elimination of welding defects and the improvement of steel structure building quality.
