Electric Field and Electric Shock
Electric fields have been around since the dawn of time - when object rub together, electricity is created. But what exactly is an electric field and how does it create the electrical charges that we use?
An electric field is a region of space around a charged particle, such as an electron or proton, or around a charged object. High voltages can cause serious injuries and death due to their effects on the heart and brain. Low voltage shocks, however, can also cause harm. They may cause muscle contractions, nerve damage, and even burns to internal organs.
Electric shocks are very dangerous and should never be taken lightly. This includes ensuring that all appliances are properly installed and maintained, and ensuring that all connections, plugs and etc are in good condition.
