Alumina-silicate refractory material and products have a wide variety of uses in industrial and manufacturing processes, ranging from energy production and ceramics to metallurgy. This material is formed through the mixing of substances such as coal and various other minerals together with a catalyst, and is then fired at nearly 3,800 degrees Fahrenheit.
