The Tianjin Port Group Co., Ltd. is one of the major port facilities and components of the world’s first-class port located in the northern port of China. It is managed by the Tianjin Municipal Government and consists of 11 port main bodies, 24 cargo unloading and warehousing companies, 13 transportation companies, 4 logistics centers, 5 bonded warehouses, 8 cargo terminals, 5 oil terminals, and 11 passenger wharfs.

The Tianjin Port Group Co., Ltd. has a total of 550 operational vessel berths with 20.8meter draft, of which 53 are achieved deepwater berths specialized in the deep draught of vessels above 11.5meters. It is the world’s largest port capable of receiving 400,000 tonnage vessels, with an annual cargo throughput capacity of more than 700 million tons.

Its wide-range of services supports its role as a critical port infrastructure for promoting regional economic and commercial development in the Bohai Sea Rim region. Besides its port operations, the port has diversified its business through the establishment of several commercial companies, investing in ports development across the world, and developing its coastal transport, import-export trade and international transport logistics operations.

In order to keep pace with the rapid development of port and shipping industry, the Tianjin Port Group Co., Ltd. has been committed to implementing “safety, environmental protection and resource conservation” strategy since the early 2000.
